Paul Runci is a Senior Policy Advisor for the Fundamental & Computational Sciences Directorate and a senior research scientist at the Joint Global Change Research Institute. His research focuses on trends in energy R&D investment in industrialized countries, energy and environmental policy in the U.S. and Europe, and comparative international politics. Dr. Runci was a staff member of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for seven years and has been with the Joint Global Change Research Institute for four years. He holds a B.A. from Boston College, an M.A.L.D. from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
