Jiyong Eom

Jiyong Eom is a staff scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Joint Global Change Research Institute. His research interest includes energy & environmental policy and economics, demand-side management of energy, and technology innovation & regulation. At the institute, he develops and utilizes partial equilibrium and computable general equilibrium models to analyze the implications that socioeconomic development and technical changes have for energy demand and the mitigation of GHG emissions. He received a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Yonsei University, a MS degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a PhD degree in Management Science and Engineering with the concentration on policy and strategy from Stanford University.
