Who's talking? What are the Issues? The Media's Portrayal of Carbon Dioxide Capture and Sequestration in the United States
Abstract:
In support of a large, ongoing geologic sequestration field project in the United States, the authors reviewed 375 media articles specifically mentioning carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and geologic sequestration (CCS) and issued between November 20, 2002, and December 31, 2003. The work presented here was conducted under the Ohio River Valley CO2 Storage Project sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory, American Electric Power, BP, The Ohio Coal Development Organization, Schlumberger, Battelle, and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
