Human Choice and Climate Change
Abstract:
Human Choice and Climate Change is a 4-volume assessment of social science research relevant to global climate change. Intended as a complement to the reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the assessment contains peer-reviewed chapters by an international team of scholars on topics such as population and health, science and decisionmaking, political and institutional frameworks, land and water use, technological change, energy, economic analysis, decision analysis, reasoning by analogy, and integrated assessment. A summary volume, coauthored by Rayner and Malone, discusses the relationships between social science and climate change and formulates ten suggestions for policymakers. Follow the link to download the complete text of the chapter Ten Suggestions for Policymakers.  Copies of the full four volumes are available by contacting Liz Malone.
