Participation in the GTSP is open to both public- and private-sector organizations from around the world. Members contribute financially to the program and play critical roles in the formulation of the research agenda based on their areas of expertise and interest.
Major GTSP sponsors constitute a Sponsors’ Forum which meets regularly to discuss strategic research directions for the JGCRI’s energy, technology, policy and climate research and communication agenda more broadly.
GTSP research funding leverages the world-class research staff, tools, and reputation of JGCRI and the wide range of GTSP-related research undertaking at JGCRI.
GTSP hosts an Annual Meeting for all sponsors of the GTSP and GTSP-related projects to discuss key issues and research results.
