What is the Global Energy Technology Strategy Program?

GTSP is a research program, supported by both the public and private sponsors, that explores strategic issues at the intersection of energy, technology, policy, and climate change.

GTSP is an activity of the Joint Global Change Research Institute (JGCRI) – a collaboration between Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and the University of Maryland; it leverages the world-class research staff, tools, and reputation of JGCRI.

GTSP research topics are chosen to help inform contemporary public- and private-sector decisions, where the value of good decisions is high and where a strategic perspective is essential for near-term decision-making.
