Abstract
I will give an overview of a state-of-the-art regional Earth system model that provide credible and predictive information on climate, air and water resources, including their variability, change and impact. This information will form a scientific basis for decision makers to select optimal pathways to achieve future economic, societal and environmental goals. I will focus on the model development and application for the integrated assessment of the impacts of global changes on future USA climate, terrestrial hydrology, agriculture, air quality, and water quality. This will include identification of model bias propagation from the present to future conditions, and construction of ensemble simulations for a reasonable uncertainty estimate.
